I have a 98 2.5L V6 GV and I'm getting about 10L/100km highway driving. 11L/100km city driving. Mind you, I have 235/70R16's instead of the standard 235/60R16. I also have a dodgy rack on the roof and a 1" body lift which cripples the air flow. If I take the rack off, I can get it down to 9L/100km ...

Izook.com has a step by step.
http://www.izook.com/tech/tracker/3inch ... ckkick.htm
Mind you, they are replacing a fair bit more.
When I saw ARB install my new springs, it was a matter of a spring compressor and a crowbar to get the arms to go down just that little bit more.

I have been running BFG Mud 235/70 R16's for a fair while now. Threw in an OME 1" lift, 1" home made body lift, cut back the front plastic a little and never had a rubbing problem. The 1" body lift isn't noticable, and the bumpers both front and back stretch over the 1" gap. You should be able to ...

Been watching these shows for a while. Try their web site if you want to see what has been done recently, as the 40 was last season. m They just did a suburban with 21" rims and 38's I think from memory. When you opened the door, side steps popped out. 6 monitors in the floor, a sub woofer wall and ...

There is a nissan up the road for sale, was $10,000, now $9,000. Can't tell ya what model, year, swb, lwb, kms or anything, cause I only glanced at it as I was driving past and it doesn't have any details on it, and I'm no good at guessing, but I do have the phone number of it. Looks in pretty good ...
Pretty hard to find one that size. I have been looking for one and the only one I could find was from Bridgestone. I am tossing up with either the Bridgestone 235/60/r16 or doing a OME lift and a 235/70/r16 BFG All terain for my Grand Vitara. I had the Bridgestone's before I went to the BFG muddies ...

www.rotational-dynamics.com used to do a unit, but they are no longer in business. Can still try them on info@rotational-dynamics.com though.
That was for the GV.
Locally, you might try Marks 4WD Adaptors.

I found Bridgestone make a All terain in a 235/60r16 It would be ideal if I could put 235/70/r16 BFGs on. I am looking at a suspension lift in the near future (possibly the OME) so this would be fine for clearence. What my major concern is the speedo being out by 8%. That would mean if my speedo ...

I went though this problem when I got my car. Ended up doing a home made 1" body lift to clear the 235/70R16's with no problems. A 1" Spring lift later on helped even more. Hoping to go to 31's fairly soon. If you go for the 235/70R16's with no lifts, you will need to do probally two things. Remove ...

Mate just did the Calmini 3" Body Lift. Lots of work involved, including grinding some of the engine bay to allow the strut brace to fit down. Took him and his father over 12 hours I think (Not sure if it is complete yet, think brakes, steering etc are still needed to be done), and this for a "bolt ...

When downshifting from 4th gear to 2nd at 80 kph, you need to raise the engine speed from 2200 rpm to 5000. To prevent excessive synchroniser wear, the clutch is depressed and the shifter is moved to neutral. The clutch is then released, and the accelarator is depressed to bring the engine speed up ...

Got the same problem with my GV starter motor. Turning over, but not making contact with the engine. Apparently the bushes are stuffed. Been waiting since November for a replacement for mine.
