The compressor only restarts occassioanlly, not a lot.

The oil is only comming out the breather with the hose disconnected, only a bare barb. Havent tried with hose only as yet.

A mate has suggested that the caliper may be rubbing and causing excessive heat??? Have to check that.

Well compression is fine but now the diesel guys says that fuel cut soleniod is most likely the culprit but to get it off, the soleniod is held on with security screws and you cant get to the wiring as its glued together or something. My old mans 75 troopy with a 3F did the same, found the wire to the fuel soleniod thing on the side of the carby was a bad connection. With it disconnected, the idle was almost non-existant. Fixed the wiring and all good again. Worth a look into.

Imports only had 1 x main diesel tank, no sub tank.
