Just in can anyone is interested in how it was fixed, we changed injector number 1 - it has a sensor in it that failed (apparently not too uncommon).

We had car 13 last year and got 8th..... maybe you might get the same luck.

Got car 27 this time... so there is at least this many

Seems motor in ours is on it s way out so just looking at options here, possibly a good motor to change over or a not so good one to rebuild and then put it to change over? Any ideas - 98 Model XJ Cherokee 2.5 Turbo diesel.

Yes I do have a vehicle for it now, so just have to prep it for play now - couldn't be happier (except when we WIN!!!)

We have XJ, 2.5 turbo diesel. The turbo come on at 1750 rpm and cuts off at 2000 rpm. Have replace the airflow sensor with a new one. Before that it would only work once in a blue moon but now is consistent with on and off at those revs. Any help would be welcome. Thanks

I have a 2" EFS lift with EFS shocks and the first couple of corners were a little surprising but after that the trade off is too good to put them back on. Just don't take corners like a sports car - remember "they can go fast - we can go anywhere"

They do make them, see them on Ebay from time to time. I just took mine off - easier that way

I am trying to source silo section (or silo tube) in Melbourne to make rocksliders for my Disco - same as Glenn Wright did on his Rangie in 4wd Monthly. He sourced his from Dubbo. Can anyone help me with this? I do not want to use just plain RHS. I have called many places and can only get 40t or 20 ...

Mostly under 2000 so I thought it was maybe the turbo, but then it happened a few times close to 3000. But it seems that after the cough or missed beat that the turbo does not perform as well as it should - for a little while then things back to normal - might be coincidence though.

Well this was our first Paj challenge as well. Found sections 3 and 4 easier to plot, but didn't find the croc... same thing with the dugout, didn't go alll the way in to look. The checkpoint with the coloured squares.... well "go" was the first word out of my mouth... oops - blew that one. Night ...

It's all good, we are out there to enjoy ourselves and the bush, placings and winnings are just a bonus, participation and finishing is reward enough.

Well thanks all for the experience. The tem name was already chosen by the time we got there (didn't reallycare at the time what it was). We learned a lot about the events and now know more of what to expect - so next time.... LOOK OUT!!! Looking fwd to Paj (but more lateral thinking involved) but ...

David_S, you were right, my mistake with the question,is that the inlet and exhaust clearances? We also would like the point clearance and timing setting if you can help with that as well. Once again thanks heaps.

Have just replaced the head on a MQ P40 petrol engine and just need the specs and settings for the lifters. Can anyone help?
