Anti Wrap Bar on my 40 needs modding
Hi there, have extended the wheelbase on my SOA 40 series, and need to have the wrap bar modified to suit. Anyone know of a decent company in Eastern Suburbs of melbourne that can do it. I had it made up a few years ago, but took it off not long after, as it was made with no shackle at the front, it...

Rear Discs
Hi Mate, Ive got discs on the rear of my FJ40. Gave diff to a machine shop, they milled a bit, added mid 80's hilux discs and rotors. Best $800 I ever spent on the old girl.

Did you bleed only at the secondary filter, or did you also bleed the bleeder at the pump? I had this problem just yesterday after stuffing around with my water trap under the chassis, couldnt get the thing to start or even turn over, bled the secondary filter, then bled the injection pump (as per t...

Hi there, I have a '78 FJ40 2F (petrol 4.2litre). I have just had Performance Exhaust in Ringwood fit a completely new system comprising new extractors, pipe and single muffler. I bought one last year for my 40 series with SOA from BBM Motorsports. I couldn't get anyone from ORI to answer the phone or emails. Supposedly the guy was sick or something. I rang BBM and they organised a chaeper version instead. Didn't realise that with 60 series knuckles (Disc brake conversion) ...

39'S on standard??? Love to see it. I've just bought 38's, I've got Spring Over, have already cut heaps out of rear guards, and about to remove and absolute sh*tload more this weekend so expensive tyres don't scrub. I've had to cut off the front bumper ends as well, and will remove the outer lip on ...

Roll Cage
Unless you can weld, a cage is gonna set you back a hell of a lot. You can probably by just the roll bar off ebay, or here, if you want a full cage like I imported from Metaltech in USA, including install, allow about 2k..

Told exhaust valves are stuffed beyond shimming, now I need to reco head. Been told $4000 to do prop...
