Just a side note, I think Simex make these tyres in 29x7.5 for anyone that may want them without a lift. (Smiliar to 215/75 I think)

Thanks for the replies, not cheap enough for me to sell the old 1ltr to buy the coily. Maybe if they drop it to $6,500. Anyway my 1ltr has less k's on it :)

Another mate said to just get a late model leaf sierra but I thought it would be worth it to get coils :?: I have an old 81 sierra no roof, rough, hose it inside & out, take it through anything, but I thought use it for offroad and a good one for the 'family' outings. Capable but more comfortable.

Sierra or Jimny?

Have decided to look into getting a 'good' Suzuki for around town (wife & kids), light tracks and some beach. Leaving it standard except slightly larger A/T tyres. Cant decide between a coily Sierra or a jimny or are they much of a muchness?

They arent rubbing but are pretty close (BFG seem to be about 29inch) and too easily filled with mud. Just wanted the cheapest/easiest way of a bit more clearance, both tire/gaurd clearance plus a bit of chassis groung clearance.

Shackle lift with standard shocks

I have fitted BFG muds 215/75/15 and want to lift my suzuki about 1 inch or so using longer home made shackles. Does anyone know if the standard length shockies can handle a lift of 1 to 1.5 inchs or will I need new shocks?

Sierra or Jimny

Hey, Im looking to buy a suzuki as a weekend fun machine, mainly beach but some muddy forrestery trails, not much rock hopping. I have about $10,000 to spend and a Jimny '98 with 90,000kms is for sale for $9,000 would this be better or should I get a sierra? I want to fit 215/75 BFG muddies but not ...

My gauge sits pointing straight up , covering the symbol behind it. Is this normal? It never climbs any higher so I havent worried about it.

Sway Bar Removal

Hi all, a question for those that have removed the front sway bar. I have just fitted the new BFG muddies (very chunky, and thats just the side walls ) and at full lock they rub the front sway bar so I thought kill two birds with one stone ie. slightly more flex at the front and no rubbing tyres ...

Just wanna see whats its limits are standard before any major lifting etc. Next move would be the cig dif lock ...

What tyre size fit

Ok guys time for new tyres, can I fit 235/75R 15 muddies on standard or with a 1" body lift or would I need 2"? I want it as stock as possible except for 235/75 muddies. Anyone fitted this size on stock body/suspension and/or will a 1" body lift be enough? I want the same sort of clearance in the ...

Worn clutch

Hey guys, havent posted for a while but my clutch is getting very worn. Does anyone know a good heavy duty replacement for the Feroza? By the way, 2 weeks to go before a 50+ inch suspension lift using king springs and winding up the front/shaving some of the bump stops.
