Outer Limits 4x4 Board

My wife and I went around Oz with a petrol/LPG 80 towing camper, across Simpson with 3.0 GU and up to cape n back in a after market turbo 4.2 GQ.

From my point of view GQ with Turbo 4.2 and $2K spent on interior "luxuries" (seats, stereo, dvd, etc.) I gotta say GQ was easiest and most comfy trip ...

Correct. This one's off a petrol 80 and does fit, just. You will need to move the overflow bottle back towards the firewall.

It has 3" in and 3 1/2" outlet (made an adaptor back down to 3" to fit the turbo inlet).

I've got a pair in my GQ and they do fit.... just.

There's enough room for the factory console and enough space to move seat belt, handbrake, etc. but they must be in the perfect spot. I also had to mod the seat base and factory mounting (not a big job, just raise rear of outside mount by 20mm and ...

Started on a 80 airbox conversion tonight. A lot a mucking around to get everything to fit (yep I want the 2nd battery in there with it) but it will fit and give me enough room to remove lid (which is a bonus...).

Had the inlet poking through the guard for me to fit up 3" whatever to.

I had (up until 2 years ago) a '92 GXL on gas (110 L gas tank - looked like a bull dog from behind). Same as EMO I usually got around 25/100 km on Gas and a bit better on Petrol.
The thing was an absolute rocket ship though. Could keep up with most things on the road and great for overtaking on ...

I was giving the Maverick a once over today and notice oil inside the ducting from the air box going to the turbo (TD42 with Garrett Turbo).

The oil was sitting on the lip going into the intake of the turbo, and there would've been about a teaspoon's worth.

Does this sound like something I should ...
