I personally know 2 guys who have done the 5L conversions, one in a GQ and one in an 80 series, and both are pretty disapointed. Why? in order to get the torque out of the engines they need to rev them about 3000rpm, now even in low range thats too fast, yes its nice to do 4 wheel wheelspins but ...

why don't you turbo the 4.2 (or one like it that's not stuffed) it will cost you less and have more power than any of the motors that have been suggested and it will be in the part of the rev range that you want? Hi mate i had considered this.... But duel fuel turbo setups dont seem to work really ...

Exhaust fitters? Can anyone recomend an exhaust shop in bris( northside) to fit a new 3 inch mandrel bent system with dump pipe for a turbo 4.2 GU?
