I would suggest that it is all about running the optimum size tyres for the length of the wheelbase.

that sounds like Jamie's rig, CJer on here the mod for this section. I don't like taking my TJ there as the first week I had it I went to see a movie and someone flat blade screwdrivered the passenger door, Just one single hit. Take the WJ there all the time and it is fine.

Lockee, has probably noted the same diffs I was about to tell you about.

IMHO Thor is in love with hilux diffs, but mind you the Dana 35 in the rear wouldn't be the strongest for big tyres.
