Mines leaking, as in pissing everywhere when the pressure builds up and i have to keep topping it up if i want to drive around. I Went to Supercheap Auto, they didn't have it. Called Repco, they said it's a genuine only part... I realise Halls 4x4 in Bayswater will probably/definitely have one but t...

Thought it was time to do something about it... Problem is, i can't find this type of flare anywhere and i really want the same stuf...

For the people who have compared ther economy betweeen the petrol and the diesels, what results have you gotten with what engines?

I spoke to someone driving a GQ on gas/petrol with 35's and he was getting 200kms out of a 110L tank of gas! It put me right off EVER getting a petrol/gas fourby....

I just got back from camping trip. On the first night we found a camping spot at about 9 o'clock so we had little light so i thought i'd leave my headlights on while we set up the tents. I flattened the battery because i had my XGT's on too. I left it till the morning to get a jump start from my mat...

Lifts

I've currently got a 2" suspension lift on my MK and still think its too low. Going higher wouldn't be road worthy (I.e. not covered by insurance), but how many of you have actually got pulled over and fined for a lift bigger than 2 inches? I was thinking of just doing a body lift, as i've hear...

I hit a big stump the other day on an over grown track ( :bad-words: ) and bent the long tie rod joining both wheels and the one that joins onto that. (it could be called something else) . These tie rods are steel forgings right? Should i try bending them back or should i just buy some new ones? Ope...

I've got a a cable running through the fire wall with a knob on the end of it, connected just as every one else describes. Works a charm! Mates get in the car, when i'm turning it off (or "pulling" it off :D ), they're like "wtf is that?!" I told someone that it's the NOS button ...

Re: MQ Maximum allowable Track increase

Is the 25mm increase refering to the stock standard track or the width of the track when you have the maximum width of tyre that is specified on the tyre placard (i.e. 10" wide tyres on a patrol mq)??. When the engineer measured the track on the Hummer replica it was from the centre of the tyr...

MQ Maximum allowable Track increase

In victoria, the maximum allowable ttrack increase is 25mm on the front and 50mm on the rear (if you've dont have independant suspension). This is stated in "Vehicle Standards Information 8" http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/NR/rdonlyres/CC48FC10-4D57-4F04-82E1-3BD72EF88340/0/VSI8.pdf Is the ...

which is fairly similar to a 235/85R16, a 265/75R16 or a 32x11.50R15.
So it would definately be legal to put a set of 32x11.5R15's?

I've heard that these tyres can be made in different factories - Some in U.S.A and some else where. Is this true? and if so, how could you tell where they came from?
