Hilux / landcruiser clutch master cyl bore diameter?
Hi gurus! I have a hilux with a commo V6 install. Many years ago with my old hilux I fitted a landcruiser clutch master cylinder kit from Marks 4X4 to get more throw on the clutch, this worked well. However I have just fitted a new HD clutch to my newer Hilux and I can't get a cylinder kit from ...

Re: Are f&r hilux centers interchangable
As previously said yes the centres are interchangeable! I took the lockright locked centre out of the rear and put it straight in the front. One of the best mods I have done!

Thanks all for your help, I'm not sure what I will fit. I had 30x9.5's on my Sierra and was hoping to get a bit bigger on the Jimny just because most ruts on the trails are chewed out by much bigger tyres. My old Sierra had a 2 inch lift and the 30's still scrubed a little, the rims were 15x7's with ...

I have a 3.8 also in my lux running 4.3's and have it on running on gas. it works out to be 20lts per 100k's on gas so for 400k's is about $38-40 to refuel. I looked at changing diff ratio's but thought the best gain would be to put in the auto box from the holden in for a few reasons.

hi mate, I am looking at doing something close to yours but not quite as high and with 33 inch tyres. What spring rates and free length of the coils did you use on the build. In mine I think I will use radius arms front and rear not a 3 link rear. Cheers, Stirlo.

Towing boats
You will really have to check also with your state laws. Yes my Zuk had a plate which states the 450kg limit, but my state laws say you can tow up to 1.5 times the cars weight if the trailer is braked (loophole). So I could legally tow my 19foot fiberglass trailer yacht. The all up weight was 750kg ...

It does sound like a good idea to use the pin type radius arms, but it would be a fair bit of work. So what do you think works better dual fuel or straight gas?
It has brand new leads and plugs in it at the moment but with 4.88 ratios it revs very high and uses alot of petrol.
