i think i had the same problem. check out how much diff oil you have. It could be leaking out the end of ya axels.

OK i have got the 1.3 alternator all bolted in and wired up. It is charging the battery at 14volts. And when ya hit the head lights etc it drops for a bit and builds back up. I found a spare 1.3 alternator. Now i have bolted it up and it charges. So that part is all good. I just have no idea what the 3 plugs on the back should be connected to. Because the 1.0 only had two wires coming out of it.

For a 1.0 litre sierra. The back should be easy as. Just the front i might have some trouble with.

i went to supercheap and couldnt find the same relay. Seems most places in town do mostly Narva. Do you know what kinda relay it is. So when i go in they can find something the same?

Ok drained the diff. Might have done with a touch more oil. Anyhow I have pulled the passenger side axel out. Cause there was a bit of oil in the drums. The U bolts did need a bit of a tightening. But the problem is still there.

The yellow lines is where it is flexing. And the movement is also down near the red arrows. So there is something warn out in the diff i take it?

yeah just reading through some old posts. I think water has gotten in it and stuffed up some bearings. Might have to pull the whole lot out and have a look. If i was to pull it out. Are they easy to put back in? Or should i get a diff person to do it.

Ok I was wrong its coming front the back. I Jacked it up and turned the back wheels back and forth. There seems to be a bit of play in the diff. And this is where I get technical. i was thinking a CV. but it happens in 2WD. Its not like the front wheel drive cars i have seen with stuffed CVs that make a shit noise when turning around car parks. This happens in straight lines. Can hear it best when ya rolling up to the traffic lights
