Mopar are actually doing 2inch lift springs which are covered by factory warranty... Think they are $220 a pair. There is endless options out there though . I dont know much about the can and cants of lifting nor do i care just do it and if you get done change it over for the pits..... Thats my 2 ...

i found a 96 disco in the paper rang the dude and he swears black and blue it has cedntre difflock and FACTORY front and rear lockers.. To my knowledge i was obviously aware of centre difflock but wasnt aware of the f + r option unless they were fitted at the dealer before delivery does anyone know ...

wouldnt bother changing the scuba tanks mate.. the best thing to do is build a false floor over top so you have a flat surface still.. I had a 91 2 door with 35s and maxi drive strengthned axles and locker in the rear never had an issue but did do a couple of stock front ones....

have a look at my 92 shorty its on here and ebay with a starting price of 3500, its a turbo diesel softtop with inly 130,000ks with factory rear difflock and 2" lift...

strongly suggest tyres mate. Atleast a good set of Allterrains but prob set of radial muddies like stt coopers or mickey t mtz just because it is so unpredictable out them dirt roads turn to slush real quick and theres alot of sharp rocks.... Just my opinion though and i think youre pretty spot on ...

hey i just put the rear springs in gu patrol i got nearly 5 inches will i ever beable to get the front this high by winding the bars up ??? and where do you wind them from have not looked yet as i ran out of daylight...

Stick with patrol you can get a good petrol one for that money and better offroad than 80 and stronger components and youve had em so you know a bit bout them...
