Hey guys, just a quick question in regards to the front diff of the D22 navaras.

Basically the problem is, the truck went in for its 120 thou service, and i thought it was also in need of a front cv replacement after some crunching sounds were heard driving in some sand a while back.

Quick question, i bid on a alloy bullbar on ebay, only to find out it doesnt have the mounting brackets.

Does anyone know if they are just the same as the ones used to attach the plastic front bars on?

And yes i know alloybullbars arent any good, just prettying it up so i can get rid of the thing

Ive got the 32" ST's on my D22, having not driving any other 4wds with different tyres i personally dont think they are too bad off road. Certainly achieved everything that ive wanted to do in my relatively stock ute.

Have noticed they are quite slippery in the wet though. Don't really rate them in ...

Have a look at the ironman 2" kits. They come with replacement torsion bars, leaf springs, and gas shocks for about a grand. Can fit 265/75 (about 32") with this combo. Snake kits do look good but thats a lot of cash for what you get. If you want 3" calmini do import there kits a lot cheaper than ...

and id want a negative offset rim wouldnt i?

as the thread topic says, curious if they will fit 15" rims. im tryin to find some 2nd hand mud terrain tyres on steel rims and im having trouble finding anything on 16"s.

im interested to hear bout this front diff centre swap aswell..

yeah when i was adding up prices off the site it was sitting round $5000 just in parts from them haha..least using the dana 44, ud have a wicked diff

have u boys checked out the calmini SAS kit at all??

i was considering looking into doing it to my nav aswell, but i think its just too expensive to bother doing.

at the moment my truck is relatively stock, so it will more then likely just be easier to sell it and buy something stock solid axled.

hey mate, love wat uve done with the bobtail, it is gonna look awesome with some bigger rubber under it!

i can certainly say from my own experience that silver paint is shiet on the bodywork, my navara is scratched up everywhere and it sticks out like dogs balls

In the last 2 weeks ive noticed quite a strong shudder in my steering wheel whilst driving, doesnt seem to get better or worse at different speeds or anything but the front end does seem to drive a bit strange..

Not sure how i can explain the feeling, it just doesnt feel right..

Any ideas wat ...

i bought my 02 D22 navara last october for $25,500, havent done a huge amount to it yet, new cooper ST's $1200, wound up the front for free. And thats it so far..

Give me another year and i bet ill be a bit more in debt lol..
would like steel tray, 2" bodylift, 2" suspension lift all round, 16 x 8 ...

why does that happen? is it something to do with not installing on the right width rim or wat?

just seems gay that companies are selling a product that isnt actually wat is listed as the product

yeah thats what they seem to be saying on their site..

one of the needed parts to the navara/frontier system is extended front axles which they also sell

another great factor is u can get between 3-4" of lift, which would set me back almost $2600 already for a calmini system

been lookin into this more lately, just really getting over the current factory suspension on the navara. And after looking around at prices for torsion lifts and stuff, it seems almost pointless just going down that road, specially when shops just keep telling me i can wind up the bars and just ...
