i get 24 mpg on my 1990 usa rocky 1.6 liter gas. it has the cat removed and fuel line magnets(gave me a measured 2 mpg) ngk iridium plugs

other than that its stock 230,000 miles with 215/75/15 tires

the silicon couplers do seem to have a fair bit of flex from what i have seen so far

update for all you nay sayers. check the pics ,this is off my brothers car ,its a cheap ebay cold air intake. ya i know it is not clearing the coolant resevoir but thats a easy fix.
it will go lots closer to the throttle body anyway.

I can see the alternator ! and the block water inlet. Does it have power steer or is it just removed whilst your working on it ? Have you measured the inlet air temp behind the headlight when driving and then at the firewall ? no i thought i mentioned it has no a/c or power steering already. i ...

No its the load from a big thermo switching on at idle that can cause a stall - especially when you have headlights etc on. This valve is used on aicon equipped roza's and adds just enough extra air ( its adjustable ) that when the A/C systems on it maintains the idle speed. Of course in this ...

okay thanks. the stock is a puller fan. i was thinking about the thermo switch froma applause to turn the fan on
little lost on the idle up thing as mine idles up right now when cold but that just runs the clutch fan faster and cools more lol :lol:

the flywheel has kinetic energy. heavier flywheel can store up more(but it take longer) but a lighter one can store/release energy faster
