Bruce Garlands D-Max

Hi Guys and gals, hope you can help. I have an Isuzu D-Max that I am thinking of setting up for off roading. I came across an article about Bruce Garland entering the Dakar with a D-Max, and was wondering if anyone could give me the specs of this rig. Looking for suspension info such as lift kit or ...

I had a similar problem, but it ended up being my manual choke.
The choke cable had slipped and was actually stopping the carb from closing properly. But as you have changed your carb, I doubt that would be it.

Where did you find that graph?

Would I be able to use the Tracker intake system on the vitara head?

I am currently installing a set of the Bushwacker flares which Rocky Road does for the Samurai. You have to unscrew the little standard flares from the mounting bracket. Once you do that, you then need to drill out the bracket which is riveted to the body (although I guess you could leave it, and ...

Thanks Gwangensteve,
Why is machining required? Is it different splines, or different size housing or what?
Does the SJ413 front diff require machining as well, or does ARB have a locker that fits straight in, and if so, can a front diff from a SJ413 bolt onto a SJ80?

I also have a coily model. One of the tabs on the rear axle where the trailing arm bolts into, was broken off, and had taken piece of the axle housing with it. Welded back on with a TIG welder and haven't had any problems with it breaking, leaking, or bending.

NB. my axle housing was not bent
