Well after 7 weeks of hell.....it's fixed. After changing computers and then changing it back it turned out to be the torque convertor lock up plate. been 2 weeks now and still not a lot.
Narrowed down to either gearbox or electrical problem,
however the search continues.

Bought a 2001 rav4 auto cruiser for my wife about a week ago. 350 k's after we bought it we pulled up at lights and the car stalled. We started it in park, put it into drive and it stalled again? If it's a voltage drop what do i need to do?

Does this mean i need a new battery?

it lox fine with remote, but wont unlock properly.

Any other advice?

I didn't do this yet because i thought if it locks it fine then it should unlock fine.

I'm hoping some1 else has had this same problem-: The remote locks the doors perfectly however when it unlocks it seems to only move the interior lock switches half way and is not unlocked at all. None of the doors r unlocked. It does work fine with the key tho. Anybody had similar probs ? Any ...

I have a 93 NH 2.6 lt(carby) 5 speed and the gearbox is noisy.
What i'd like to know is ,will an earlier model box fit upto my motor?
Also is it worth getting a second hand box or should i get a reco?
What sort of price would i be looking at for either?

I managed to fit 99 GLS into my 93 GL. All i needed to do was get the big black metal pan that goes under the middle seat ,a couple of brackets ............AND THE BIG 1(yours may already have these so check first)............... You will need to get the metal brackets that are spot welded on the ...

My new toy....It's not much...but i love it. 93 GL 2.6lt petrol 5 spd air con pwr str 99 gls velour interior(Very nice) 99 wheels 12 stack cd bullbar etc.Done 310 k's but motor rebuilt at 240 k's. I've had it for about 2 months.All up it owes me..........$6400. So i reckon i didn't do to bad. Cheers ...

1st pic looks like a GL or GLX.
2nd pic is a GLS (top of range)
Shoulod cost anywhere from $6000 to about $13000.

If you haven't had a 4b before,then once you get it you'll be wondering why you didn't do it sooner.

Hi i've got a 93 pajero lwb GL and i am wondering if the seats from a GLS of the last of the same shape(NM??the 1 that looks the same but has fatter guards) will fit?
and if so do i have to do much to get them to fit??

I suppose this could be a very biased oppinion!

if you look in the members section,DirtPigs and myself have photos of our patrols with the standard GU rims.
I reckon they look excellent,but as DirtPigs said "it's all in the eye of the beholder".

Ok,there's a few people in different topics wanting to know if GU frt seats fit a GQ,and others want to know if the dicky seats(3rd row) from a GU will fit GQ?
I wanna know if they all fit?
Did they change the floor pan in the GU?

To answer your Q,I'm pretty sure it's only illegal if it doesn't have a machinery approval.

Best place to find out for sure is your local dept of transport....
cause as you may know,the rules in QLD can chage every 2 k's you drive,

I have 2 factory holes behind the very back seat of mine!
90 model lwb.

Nah! No other mods yet.Runnin 31's on 15 x7's. And yeah those figures are just runnin to work an back ,bout 3 k's out of 22k's are spent on the highway each way to work.
An to top it off,i know that my carbi isn't real good.

GQ lwb 4.2 petrol,286,000 k's, 5 speed with air con running 99% of the time. I get just on 400 k's to a 75lt tank.
And i thought that was bad.
