i put the flat top ubolts in it still hits the rearward ubolt wen draglink hit's it it just bounces up over it can't feel it when turning

l'm putting a dropped draglink in hopefully this week but l'll see wat happens

gday all l was goin through posts on here and from wat l've read everyone that puts extended shackles is that it rolls the diff aka changin camber needin caster correction wedges to fix it the 2 problems that l have is later on l wanna put high steer kit in with my 3 inch spring lift plus extended ...

frankenyota l agree mate cross over steering start of next yr like the 35 muddies go on then

ball jiont on top l researched that on pirate4x4 from wat l've read up few guys had problems with the draglink hittin the shock and with thier post welding wasn't suggested because of the j arm being a cast iron forged part mainly breakin but cross over would be the better option might order one ...

cool thanks for the info l'll speak to my welder tomorrow,, is that the only way it can be done? l thought by just lookin at it wen l was puttin the springs in that it could be a replacement part but l've never put reset springs in before so l've never encounted this problem dropped draglink be next ...

no worries bad mav sounds like a gud plan mate l was at one stage gonna do a ground up build but with the paper work involved with queensland transport it wasn't worth it basically hilux running gear rhs chassis and hummer slash ute cab basically box section frame with 1.8 mm steel covering it ...

seeing wat happens to my mates ute wen he got rear ended it was completelt stuffed yer might say there are loads at wreckers but most of them are a bunch of rip offs up here in townsville and you'd have to make sure that chassis isn't bent n twisted a second hand chassis compared to 3 8metre lenghts ...

you have the common hilux problem the factory seam or the stip of metal running along the top of the fire wall is 3 pieces of steel jioned pressure welded together it sits just above the bonnet hinges you'll see it wen ya look check the corners underneath the strip with screw driver for rust if none ...

another way to do it is to scourer it with a scotch brite pad,,, wax n grease remover,, , tack rag it off apply 1 coat of scan sealer o 2k sealer wait ten minutes to dry then apply colour we do it with all new car panels at my work

do a search there out there l noe of one my mate father owns the take off on it is excellent it was bolted to an r series box as well g52 cant handle power from wat l remember it's an r150 box

well from wat l've read from marlins forums the 3rz was replaced with a 2tfe or something similair round 2005 with vvti so wheather or not vvti was avilable with the 3rz is questionable

well wether or not this engine is vvti is questionable l was just gonne pull it apart just wanted to noe wat l'd look for to noe the difference

the wrecker could just be bullsh#n to me

the motor l noe for a fact is 3rz cause in the cast iron bottom end sez 3RZ
