The 13BT has the H55F 5 speed gearbox behind it on my MWB cruiser. I dont think the hilux boxes and diffs are built as strong as the cruiser ones.

I had a 93 Pajero and killed it. The engines are alright but once mine got to around 250000ks the engine was shot. Ended up selling it for 1500. It was in good condition but I couldn't justify spending 3 grand fixing a car that was worth half that. The V6 engines go hard but aren't built to last. Go...

I'm about to order 16x8 with neg 34. off-topic, but am i correct that they are same as 100 series stud pattern? If so, where did you order them with the 34 offset? Mike Greater City Tyres Bendigo is where I was going to order them. I think they might be ROH wheels. Most/some wheel manufacturers wil...

Yeah. I usually find around town if I'm giving it a bit of right foot it will peak at 12psi then when cruising will drop back to 3 - 5 psi. On the highway, cruising in 5th and doing 100k's, it will sit much higher (8psi or so) and it wont take much accelerator at this speed to get to max boost. A sl...

I run my 1HD-FT at 15psi, I have had it as high as 20 for the dyno. If problems were to occur from cranking up the boost is it likely that the engine would blow or the turbo would fail? I spose if the turbo failed it would spit metal through the engine. Do you think the 1HD-FT can handle higher boo...

I now have it at 12psi and it goes much better. 14psi is about the max you want to go or you might blow the turbo. If anyone is running higher boost than 14 ple...

Sorry mate I'm not 100% certain where your water/fuel separator would be. But it should have one. I own a landcruiser
so Patrols are foreign to me. Have you got a work shop manual? Should be in there.

x2 on the water separator. These get overlook when servicing. I think you need to drain it every 12 months so the rig doesn't
konk out at an inconvenient time. You just unbolt the bottom bolt let it drain and then prime the fuel pump.

Hope it helps.

Thanks for all your help fellas,

Stick-ons sound like a good option.
I'll go down to the tyre shop and checkout the options.
The spacers make the cruiser look good but I dont want to use the spacers
if I can make the wheels fit.

Cheers,

Gav.

Thinking black sunny with more - offset.

Its a BJ74, so pretty much like any 1980's Landcruiser front end I think. The wheels are a tight fit without the spacers and it was just the wheel balance weights chewing into the edge of the rubber boot on the tie rod ends. Does anyone know if the weights can be moved to a different location on the...

Thaks for that Weiner, So with -24 and a 2" spacer I'm the equivalent of -49. Would the -44 offset you have create the same stress on bearings that I have with spacers and -24 offset? I only ask because I have read opinions that spacers are bad news. More importantly - What wheels have you got ...

Yeah its in Farenheit. Doesn't really matter. Goes up to 1600F. What sort of engine/turbo have you got? I have a spot in the dump pipe but I think the manifolds have similar holes to tap. MUD has heaps of info on the procedure in the 70's section. Not sure why it says 600F on its not turned on. Its ...

Is it petrol or diesel mate? On my diesel the boost gauge is tapped in between the turbo and inlet manifold. Sits steady at 0 psi at idle.

Does yours need a tune to run smother? Does it run rough? Might be a timing problem? I don't no, just a thought.
