Hey guys, Quick question. Fitting a 2nd hand genuine toyota tow hitch to a 76 series. Each side has a pair of triangle(ish) shaped steel plates. Where do they go? One on the outside and the other inside the rail, both on the outside or something else again? Pic in my best MSpaint to show what I'm ...

Ive heard that the Dual-mass flywheels found in the manuals can be expensive to replace when they let go. The autos are meant to be very dependant on getting the right transmission oil (original MM oil is almost universaly recommended) and going to a larger tyre size (say stock 265/70 to 265/75) can ...

Bit of a dig here but the topic seemed appropriate enough to avoid starting a new thread. I'm looking serously at buying either a KZJ120R or a KDJ120R but red book is throwing out some weird info on the engine in the KDJ120R's. It says its a 1KD-TE (rather than FTV). The engine code in redbook ...

My 93 LWB G16B vit has a single wire sensor. I used a Bosch 0 258 002 014 when I replaced it last. You might find that although you need a single wire sensor that you have a 4 wire plug at the harness (for heated type sensors used on later model vits). Thats what I found on mine but i do seem to ...

There's nothing illegal about putting a different odometer in with a different reading. Your car could have done 550,000 k's, and you can put one in that says 50,000 k's. The crime occurs when you attempt to sell the vehicle, and claim it has done 50,000k's, not 550,000k's. Or if you attempt to ...

The written opinion seems to say that claims 1-18 were not novel or inventive. Only claim 19 was upheld. Opps, that was issued on the 28th of March 2010 and nothing has been ...

It would be very easy(and cheap) for toyota to pen a Cease and Desist letter and send it to him if they believe thier patents or IP has been infringed. This guy claims hes been working on this for 20 years, if he has documentation to prove that, then he could mount a challenge to Toyota, but hes ...

Platinum and iridium plugs are used because they last alot longer before you have to swap them about 100,000kms. Copper actually lets current flow easier and i've even seen silver spark plugs and they are slightly better again but they wear out even faster than the copper ones. I'd stick to the ...
