Mine are pretty shagged out so reset not really an option
there is another mq near me I might check out the springs on it I have heard of pol using hilux springs of some sort
Does anyone know if they fit or what to do o get them to fit

hey guys i have an mk and just wondering if there are any leaf spring mods ie springs from differant model or makes of 4wd .
my left spring on front is sagging really bad so looking at differant options

you could try a heavy duty over centre latch they spring closed once they get to a certain point so imho would be a good idea as they would stay shut

lol funny lot you guys are
fixed it was really bad basicly the whole mount
the chassis tore out so i have refabbed my chassis at that point and now it drives like a new 4wd lol
i jacked it up and the drivers side one just fell off i was lucky
so its all good now

was just checking there wasnt any extra or specific things to do
so basicly clean make sure its in original spot and weld it back on

i weld for a job but want to make sure of anything to do or not to do

just noticed my front right hanger has cracked at the weld on drivers side of hanger
wats the best way to fix it i have a massive shake at 80 kays now
i used to get this shake when the bearings were loose but i have tightened them

but thats because my thermos have broken and running no fans atm

wouldnt having them bolted with the big u and bolt be better if they got damaged than being welded to chassis
cut or unbolt them off and put new ones on
if they are welded you have to grint /oxy /plasma etc ??
correct me if im wrong but to me undoing a bolt seems better to me

wicked have you got a pic of the shifter plate etc so i know what ya mean and i may be able to get one made if you can get sizes as i have heaps spare time lol and hill billy where abouts do you drill etc and what is needed to do the overhead cam so i could run a carby etc like someone said or still ...
