I have f/glass doors from eureka, fit perfect.

Another big advantage those have over mine is that the hole on the inside of those ones is a LOT smaller. that would make putting a door trim a lot easyer. also I checked the price today frp want $388 ea for these I think i paid about 320 3 years ago ...

Unless of course you're building a dedicated offroad buggy etc, in which case you're still probably going to be worried about what the 'engineer' has to say unless ofcourse you're the all knowing one who just shuts up, quits dreaming, picks up his skirt............and pays someone else to do the ...

the good thing about the 253 is that because it's under 5l you don't have to do a disk brake conversion at the same time. (QLD) Not that I would recomand not doing it. one of the first things i did to my 40 was a 60s disk brake conversion. but if he's short on cash he could pick up a 253 for bugger ...

Spend less on the paint and more on the driveline. If you are going to wheel this thing that paint will be a waste of time. if your not going to wheel it this is prob not the bb for you

Mate of mine (actually on this board), his dad is a QLD DOT inspector, and he tells me if its engineered in NSW, and you bring it to QLD with SPOA, then you will get away with it.

It's the only way you can legally have SPOA in QLD apparantly.

He is pretty anal about these sorta details, so I ...

I have the same prob in my 40. its a 75 also seems that they are the only ones with this problem as other 40s I have looked at don't have that bit of floor in the way. if ya cut that bit you end up with a hole in the floor.
