New to the Isuzu Family.

Heyyas. I am regularly on these forums as I have a Patrol. But on the weekend I bought a Rodeo for my wife. It is a 2005 RA Rodeo dual cab TDI. Has an ARB canopy, ARB deluxe roof racks and tow bar. I want to put a bull bar on it, snorkel and get rid of the nasty Holden badging and fit a D-max grille...

I was thinking about using spacers to make the difference up.

I was just wondering if it had something to do with the panhards not being long enough.

Has anyone extended their factory sway bar disconnect?

Now dont laugh! I have pedders rear springs that lifted it around 2.5 inches with 30mm spacers in the rear. In the front I have heavy duty 80 series springs which lifted the car 3 inches on the front. Before I fitted these springs though, I was running some 1 year old GU springs and the car had a sl...

My GQ has a drunken lean!

Heyyas. My GQ has a problem! It has around 3 inches of spring lift front and rear and has a lean to the drivers side. The drivers side sits about an inch lower. I have swapped springs left to right with no change, disconnected the front and rear sway bars with no change. I loosened off all suspensio...

Well, I decided to go 33 inch big horns and just run them as my everyday tires. I got 5 tyres and new 15x8 LC offset rims, look tough as, I now have to get my flares back on as they stick way out of the guards! They are really quiet which is a bit of a shock, and drive really good on the road, very ...

I read the new 4wd action mag and saw there is a big Mud tyre test. The Big Horns did really well but the tyre that stood out was the silverstones. So I rang our silverstone supplier at work for a price and they are out of stock for a couple of months!

The trepadores are also looking good. In 35" there is about $50 per tire seperating them all. The concern I have is, to fit 35's I will need to do more work to the car, a lot more work, 33's should fit fine as it is, but, 33's only give me an inch more ground clearance! Tough decisions. I saw t...

Its not so much the tread, but the diamater. the Diesel is slow enough as it is. It can only be worse turning 35's in the traffic. Which is why I am thinking about keeping the 31's as dailys and the larger tyres for the weekends.

Questions about Maxxis Tyres.

Heyyas. The patrol needs some better tyres so I had a look at our tyre shop at work and noticed we are a Maxxis dealer. I have got some prices and am really impressed with the cost of them. I am looking to find out what peoples experiences are with them. I am leaning more towards the Big Horns or th...

Bell housing patterns? Crazy thoughts.

Heyyas.

I was wondering, does a gearbox from a TB/TD 42 fit behind an RB30? Are the bell housing patterns the same.

If so, is there an adaptor to fit a Nissan VH41/45 engine to the Patrol gearbox?

I think you mean R30 Skyline. In japan (and possibly NZ) they had a turbocharged, efi 'L' series engine. I think it was an L24et.

The R31 Skyline has the 'RB' series of engines, which are all cross flow.

Loom and ECU are nothing, that stuff is easily had from a wrecker, but the issue is the 4.5 is an Auto, the 4.0 is a manual and he wants to keep it manual, does the 4.0 manual fit the 4.5 or are the bolt patterns different?

Heyyas, I am not a Toyota person, but I have a good mate who is so I am helping him with some research.
