I have to buy 5 rims for new 36 x 12.5 x 15" centerpedes this week would you use 8's or 10's??

i know that simex's like a bit of side wall buldge but how much is required..

any info would be appreciated.

the 4.4 has heaps of pull, its a very fresh motor internally. The reason for the engine mods was to stop the dropping of fuel on steep inclines.

I need to know what diff ratio is best running for 34" simex, also as i have a maxi drive rear diff do i need to get anything made for this diff in order to fit a new diff centre or can i fit the new gears without modifying the maxi too much????

Hey i got an email back from a guy at Max Wedge Performance the 4brl maifolds are in stock and are $650 +freight,

Thats still about 300 too much, go a stock manifold with EA/EB TBI injection with a megasquirt ecu all for under $400.

to do the 3.9 litre injection there are a few underlying costs to be considered. The injection itself maybe 50-100 bucks with the manifold and injectors ecu and wiring. then theres the air mass meter 650-1200 depending on new or replacement. spacer plates to fit the 4.4 as they are a wider V $400 ...

Go the 470 if you do.... Anything else is too big. Well the 600 was on mine and my 4.4 is 5lt with spice..

If you want a horn manifold go the WILLPOWER by Max Wedge Performance.... You can have single plane carb or even a full fuel rail injection set up...

But your paying now I'd reckon 700 ...

i've got that cheap mod, and it doesnt work. the new idea is whats called a holley truck avenger....i know bad name but it can do 40 deg angles though. and for 700 bucks its much more affordable than injection.

hey, Ive just put 33 x 12.5 x 15 on a a set of 8 x 15 inch sunnies. witht the correct offset from a tire joint in frankston vic. 89 bucks each. they work fine. you wouldnt want to put a 12.5 on anything less than an 8.
