Re: More flex front 100 series by removing bolt?
Without getting into a flex-off or flex vs lockers war, crunk81us's question was ... by removing one bolt from somewhere on the front suspension, it would act similarly to an xlink. Does anyone know what this one bolt is and what it's dis/advantages are? I think we have achieved that. i agree. to ...

ive found in my 60 series (runing 80's coil setup) it make a big differnece when flexing removing one rear bolt from the front arms, the front wheel drops ova 4'' more and the other wheel pushs up mor also. with all bolts in it puss for flex, drive about the same so far, but i would only ever do ...

the engine loom is differnet, you might beable to patch the ls1 egine loom into whats left of the body loom to run the fuel setup and power to ECU. i would ring up about the bellhousing cos i think the housing its self might work still? im only guessing off 60 seires and GQ hosuings ive seen run ...

im half way with runing 80s coil setup in my 60s and will start on the rear soon. as u have a ute cab i would look at getting a rolling 80s chassis aand mounting your cab on there, if not, running the 80s setup under the 60s is in no way hard if your good and fabing up things, ive used all the stock ...

i agree with berad if it is between v6 or v8 then i would run a 304, cheap, they fit in easy enough, and with a rad in the back even better. ls1 that ive been in seem to not have as much off the line pull compaird to a 304! but rev out a lot better. any v6 lux ive been in has no down low pull with ...

not sure about easyest but ive seen been apart of, 22re, 18rg, commo v6, and a number of holden v8s. this is what ive found. 22re - motors seem'd to blow up all the time and get no better fuel economy, and with a little bit more power. was easy enought to covert as it was all bolt up stuff using ...

ok well with out reading this info before hand, ive mounted the 80s box in 1, it being newer than my 60s unit i though it might work better. 2, the housing looked better and stronger, so might be better. 3, the bolt pattern was more suted to the box tilting forward so it fitted on the chassis better ...
