When bending all our pipes with the bottle jack type of bender we have to pack the pipes
with sand so it bends rather than just kinks or squashes the pipe flat.
Recently got a jd2 bender

bloody awesome bits of gear and saves so much time.

Got the patrol running now
Problem was that the starter motor i first tried was buggered as well
So after ripping the starter off my gq patrol that i knew worked it kicked over first go

Thanks for the pointers mate i will give it a try and see how i go.
As for the starter i will keep it in mind if the 1 i have doesnt work.

so thats $2,500 to primer no tray no interior and no paint
is that engineered for road use ???
That will be eveything done to meet engineering in n.s.w.
We will supply the engineers certificate if its paid for. athol mullen engineering is who we have spoken to regarding all legal standards ...

just rear mount a el falcon radiator with the twin thermo setup. wont come close to overheating again . my mate did this to his lux with a vp v6. standard water pump works fine.
he gave it a punishing in tuff truck last year and temp wasn't a issue

As my mate Pom doesn't have the net at home i will try an explain. he already has a extra cab 2wd hilux, gq patrol diffs, transfer and rb30 for the hilux.
he is 2 minds as to what suspension set up to go as its only for camping and basic wheelin. IMO i think he should just coil it and be done with ...

im not really sure mate.... if the coil hats on the disco are the same distance appart as the range rover then they should be able to fit under.
you will need to weld the new brackets on for the links as all my links are custom made lenghts.

so im parting out my 80 model range rover, and it currently has gq patrol diffs under it front and rear. 3 link front end 'a' frame rear end. flex is bloody awsome :armsup:

$2500 and we will chop the cab, fit a rear wall and window, bog and paint in highfill primer. can also build trays, engine conversions, coil conversions, bar work etc for extra.

im running my 14" bilsteins in the front to my lower control arms. they are working fine, but i have them mounted right down the end.
