HJ 75 Pitman arm adjustment

Hi I have a 1989 HJ 75 series Land Cruiser At the moment there is a fair bit of play with the pitman arm stud on the Drag Link side when turning the steering wheel backwards and forth. I've been told that you can adjust the slack out of the stud but from memory there is only the seats, spring and a ...

I've looked at the F350 and would love one but by time I pay for it could of bought a new shed and a kenworth truck to park in it.
Looking like Larry the Land Cruiser is going to get traded for Mr Isuzu.

I am currently doing some work on a BJ 47 Cab chassis land cruiser with the 2H engine. Having a lot of difficulty getting the glow plugs to work. Safari Snorkel Grill

I've managed to smash the grill in for the snorkel on my Landccrusier.

Tried a number of different online web site shops looking for the grill but all the sites want to sell the snorkel head and grill as a complete unit for around $98:00.

Dose anyone know a online 4WD shop selling just the grill?

I plan to fit the 12HT into a 1989 HJ 75 series landcruiser and from reading different threads on here the 12HT seems to be the best engine to simpily bolt straight in. I was thinking of turboing the 2H but want to know if its possible to build a 2H as strong internally as the 12HT. But from the ...

Turning a 2H into 12Ht

Can you rebuild a 2H to be similar to a 12HT internally. I know the pistons are different, along with pre heat systems being different plus the 12HT has extra oild galleries but the bottom ends are basically the same so all the work is up top. I know everyone is going to say go out and buy a 12HT ...

I Had the same problem with my 1989 HJ75 series cruiser. End up getting the transfer case completely overhauled and the gearbox done up. You can get recondition kits that do both. I had Bayswater 4x4 in Melbourne do mine and they did a great job. Also replaced the clutch while they had it all part ...

Looks like a lot of work to try and shape another bit of steel to fit.

Probably the cheapest, unless u want to buy genuine
Hi I've been trying both. Genuine parts cost more than old girl is worth.

Nothing on ebay or the trading post.

Tried a few local wreckers but no luck so far.

Don't know any wreckers you could recommend??

A 'P' Plater decided he would driver his Nissan Navarra into side of my Landcruiser on a country road. Result tow truck for the Nissan and I drove home with a bent bullbar and dented front panel.
