hi just wondering if any 1 here has fitted a 24v alt as a second charging system to there td42 in a gq.

just wondering if any 1 has fitted big block chevs to gq's b4? how it went? is cooling a issue? what fitting kit was used? just wondering if its worth fitting a injected 502 BB chev i got my hands on

when you run a long arm kit, wont it move you diff back so you need to move your shock and spring monts?? Nar m8 the kit comes with new control arm mounts cut ur old 1s off weld the new 1s on 300mm foward on the chasis top arms dont change but dont fit a shorty unless u move he diff shock and ...

M8 if ya got a gasket use gasket goo if not use silicone wurth silicone is reel good never had a problem with it but there pritty much all the same.

hey m8 i got a 88 gq shorty i upgraded my frount brakes to the later model brakes off a 4.2 injected petrol st model with twin calipers + wider discs. pulls up 37 treps good and all bolts straight up

im in m8 getting a bit sick of 37's with the 4.11's. Life saver!!!!!!!!!!!

Just wondering how many ppl have done this? wat steel to use? were to cut? any 1 got some pics?

Is 300mm extenstion worth it? plan to run long arms would i get more flex than a A arm setup?

Not worried about body have a ute cab to fit.

yeah m8 all bolts up pritty shaw u have to use the gu steer box not just the pitman arm. n with ur centre u will have to remove the thrust block between the spider gears otherwise the axels wont fit. have fun
