g'day Brighty,
Our CV's are no stronger or weaker than a genuine cv as far as we can tell.
We don't warrant them for competition use. I don't know how much you can expect out of a $55 CV but out of the hundreds of units we have sold I have never heard of someone being unhappy with their purchase ...

I"ve had the spidertrax mounts for years and haven't had a problem with up to 34 inch tyres and my gearing reduction spread between the transfer (4.9:1) and my diff gearing (4.57:1). I think thats the key, you need to spread the ...

We find on newer model vehicles such as GU patrols that the halogen Low beam is only about 70-80% in brightness as the standard Halogen low beam. In saying that the HID high beam is a massive improvement over the OEM halogen low beam in this particular vehicle.
We have spoken to the manufacturer ...

I'd probably replace the whole axles and cv and then keep the old axle as a spare if its in good nick.

Hey Scotty,
Make sure you fit them to a wide rim as these tyres will crown reallly badly in the centre of the tread when run on a rim that is too narrow at road pressures.
Seen it happen on a few vehicles that have come through the shop here.
Most people seem to be happy with them off road. For ...

Otherwise just come and buy a H4 HID Hi/Low 6000k Upgrade kit for your headlights. THey run at 55w and will poo all over your standard lights. Probably won't even need to run spotties.
In this day and age I just don't see the need to run heaps of Halogen spotties when we have HID technology around ...

I'm pretty sure that I could sell you a Vitara ARB winch bar and get it modded for the body lift for under the 1200-1300 that you are looking at to get that bar into the country.
You other option is to get one made up locally. I have a few contacts in melbourne if you want to go down that road ...

I priced up some custom upgraded cvs and axles for a customers jimny a few weeks back and they were pretty reasonable. The guy knows his stuff. He quoted around $660 per side so I guessing for rear axles which require less work you could get them cheaper.

Chapel Corner have ceased importing the 33" size as there were too many issues with that size only.
The 35x11.5-15, 35x10.5-16 and 31x10.5-15 are the only sizes available in Aus at the moment. These are selling strongly with many happy customers.

16 inch wheels are more expensive, one negative, but you normally open up your options for tyre sizes too. Less sidewall means better control but more wheel to destroy on obstacles.
Question is why do you want to go to 16s other than reducing your sidewall height?
I'd only consider going to a 16 ...

Yep that's all you need to do. It is an easy fix. Give them a clean up and use some gasket goo to seal the hub switch back onto the hub when you bolt it back on to keep it sealing inside.
Wheel bearings vary in price, but usually around the $30-50 per corner. Bearing shops are usually cheaper than ...

Depending on the condition of the hub it can be an easy trail fix. You probably just need to pull it apart, give it a good clean and re-lube as it may have dirt/mud clogging the turning/locking mechanism. It is also possibly the front wheel bearings might not be in great condition if there has been ...

no it won't because they have a clutch fan if it is a g13bb so when it hits water it stops instead of causing suction.
Well if its not that, then whats causing the damaged radiator fins on the engine side

even if it is a clutch fan....got me stumped

When you go through deep bogholes....similar to this:
Water will rise up into the engine bay and the fan will start to hit the water causing it to torque up and pull itself towards the radiator like a boat propellor.

I have a magnum/tabor 9000lb in my sierra arb bar with a upgraded 4.6hp warn motor. Fits nicely in the bar. In the arb bars, you should be able to fit anything from a warn 3500lb atv winch (might have to drill new mounting holes) up to a xd9000 without any mods.
