Thanks for your input SCANAS and oldmate. Have decided to put it up on a stand and keep it. The more I pulled off the ute around it the better the condition the motor appeared to be in.

on my '93 lux. i had 33x12.5 on 15x8 -22 sunnies. with a 2inch body and 2inch sus and diff moved forward an inch. the tyres fouled on the leaves on full lock and when under a bit of compression. if your planing to use it off road regularily, i would recommend a slightly larger offset. i know in pro ...

i have efs all round in mine, they seem pretty damn harsh to ride on in the rear, fronts not too bad, with allmost flex in the rear. but when loaded up sag dramatically!

as nat84 said, as long as you're running the same leaves, your flex stays the same. but you'd be about 6inches higher, with the same narrow 40series width. i think people who do spring over try to get as flatter leaves as possible, thats how they're gettin more flex, coupled with longer shocks

if you go behind the seats, and make sure you seal all the airlines/connectors properly, it wont run for bugger all turning your lockers off and on , plus, if you do what arb do, and run the pressure release from the air solenoid back out of the cab under the car, you wont get the oily smell either ...

i've got 2 cruisers, 82 and 84, both are blank in that spot, and the next one to the right of it on both are hazards, but is written, not just a dot, could be a random that a previous owners added.
