Was put onto it at the dealers when I bought the car. The salesman was proudly telling me they chip some of their demo vehicles

Presto I found that an R380 didnt hold behind a mid 4.6lt years ago My gearbox guy told me that the bearings etc just arent big enough to handle the power and the offroading situations we all tend to put these vehicles in . We rebuilt it twice then got rid of it as we couldnt get it to work. Is ...

Hi Lockee Remembering Im running them on an offroad race car (110) and a tow car/ tourer (130) so they are small compared to what most guys on here would use In both cases 265/75/16 or close to 32in. I think this is about the standard height wise on a defender anyway Plenty of pics here http://www ...

I raced with these tyres on the Australasian Safari this year. They were very good on fast tracks and stood up well to the rough stuff as well

Im using them on both defenders now

Sand is fine on the defender 130 running 14psi in the soft beach sections

Reading all this Ill never complain about CAMS again in our off road racing circles

To say basically a protest is never going to see the light of day is a joke especially in the circumstances above

If most things said on here are true it is making a mockery of an international motorsport event

Bru you may want to do some homework on what we are running offroad racing. The class leading class 8 ( Extreme 4wd) isnt running that sort of front travel However good compression travel is a must. I would look at stability first at a top speed of around 200km. If 160km is you top speed youd be ...

Having had a disco with a 4.6 in it and I currently have a defender with a gen 3 Id say if you want horsepower do it once and go Gen 3 You will have to make sure evrything else in the driveline is up to spec The 4.6 is sluggish and thirsty but is an improvement on a 3.5 The 6lt gen 3 had good power ...
