My Range Rover has killed two center console window switch packs over the last six months. I pulled out the body computer and cleaned it up and resoldered it, but am wondering if anyone has any ideas on what components fail on the window switch pack itself?

The power windows a friends 93 Pajero have suddenly failed to operate. Have checked fuse under dash and swapped relays arround next to the battery in the engine compartment. No luck.

Anyone have any suggestions on where to go from here?

Hi All,

A mate of mine has a 92 Pajero and sound like his automatic transmission is fcked. Slow to shift up, engine revs hards, doesn't like to reverse...

Anything obvious to check for?

If not, would you get the transmission rebuilt or source one from a wreckers? Any idea on relative costs ...

Wouldn't running clear water in a car cooling system potentially have the following three issues?

1. Aluminium corosion - the waterways would errode?
2. Potential water pump seal issues?
3. Greater chance of overheating or more importantly freezing water in the block?

Or is that just hog wash ...

How the heck do you get the timinng belt pully off the crankshaft.

Don't know but I broke down in West Virginia on a July 4th weekend about 6 years ago. Everything was closed and I need a new engine pully for my Toyota as the front one fell off.
