I got a RN46 and its a great first 4b im learning alot and there are heaps of mods that can be done. i'm currently in the process of putting on lifted leaf springs and shocks, 35' tires, new tray with rollbar and changing the 4 speed gearbox for a celica 5 speed plenty of other things to mod.

I got them off a rig i bought and wrecked it looks like the person before me replaced two of the leafs and didnt bother drilling the bolt through as the hole is not a little off line they are way off so i cant knock them into place they need to be redrilled.

i recently got some lifted leaf springs and noticed that the bolt that goes through the middle and holds all the leafs together was gone i looked to replace it but the holes didnt line up so i tried to drill a new hole but steel is hardened. Is it imperitive to have the bolt? Should i take it to a ...

They are both 4wd my friend said it should be a straight forward transfer.

my hilux is lifted and the bullbar is in the way of the headlights so i will need to move the bar up aswell tried to but need to weld new brackets on.

Hi ive got a celica 5 speed gear box off a 83 hilux i wrecked will i beable to mount it onto my 79 hilux? Whats the best way to do this do? has anyone one done it and posted their work?

I found it in a search research cuz i got 35's and want to find out the best way to mount them. Have youse found the best way? and if so what is it?

Got the cab off with 4 people just tricky geting it over the gear stick and the engine just remember to disconnect all the wires or you will be stuck holding the cab up for what seems forever while the other person tries to get it undone. Other wise no worries.

Also do you think the Engine could be lifted if i cut chassis up and leave some bars to grip to conected to the engine so we can lift it? How much does it weigh? looks small 2L. probably work something else out but just curious.

I just bought a trey with a roll bar on it so i'm gunna try and do a whole trey transfer. And i couldnt find specific info on ruffs truck in members section i'll try again.

Hey got the rear axel off today no worries. Might try the cab tommorow. Do you think it can be lifted off by 4 people on each corner? or will i need a winch of some sort?
