Heaps of flex is over rated anyway, just get the back working as good as the front. Then spend that 2g's on a locker. For two reasons;

1. If your worried about Mr Plod or the Mermaids, a locker is 1000 times more legal than a 4inch lift.

Lsd's in the front are bad for the same reason that detroits are. The tourque steer isn't as violent but still poses a problem, but like spaz said if its a yota one it probably wont do dick.

On the Gen 2 luxs (And maybe runners) the rear chassis crossmember above the rear tyres is the perfect diameter pipe.

Howes Valley is just past the halfway house on putty rd...I remember when it was an off road buggy racing track..but thats going back many years ago now.....

I pulled mine apart and soldered the hold-in windings back together and saved a $350 exchange job. Check to see if there is current getting to the solenoid first. If there is then its in the motor. fun fun fun.

just make sure you havent got your gut hanging over the fanbelts while your doing this ...

i got ordered not to drive my 45, i was given a yellow sticker, and a huge fine... all because drums weren't adjusted fully up.

Having your 4 wheel drum brakes not adjusted and driving on the road is stupid. I would have fined you for that too. Just because they still work when you pump it 3 ...

I got defected about 2 weeks ago, the cop was a complete toss. But i tried very very hard not to be un-diplomatic to him. I was lucky to get off with the front wheels sticking out 3 inches from the guard and an oil leak.

No of course not, but any gain in hp would be marginal anyway, if anything it will just make cool wirring and hissing noises.
