Hey all again!! My old boy is looking at up grading his 08 3ltr st patrol manual wagon , to an 09 ti 3ltr auto wagon. Iv heard the autos eat more diesel than the manuals? Is this true?? Can someone give me some figures on them? Not towing, no bigger tyres. Cheers

Yeah, figured as much about running big tyres, not worried bout that. Tightening with the ring and 2 screws, using the proper tool and torque wrench. So I'm stuffed if I no, must be flogged bearings?

Don't think it's the king pin bearings, when I tighten the wheel bearing there is no play when moving the wheel back and forth.

well its all done, no skinned nuckles, suprized how much patince iv gotten in my old age!! did as bowtie landie said, took me bout 4 hrs all up, 6 stubbies, 30min of mrs wingeing!! all in all good sat arvo!! thanks 4 the help!!

i used u fix it, and it said in the instructions to push the crack open to let the epoxy in. so i did and the crack tripled in size. cracked the shits, punched the windscreen, brand new windscreen. im now going to anger management. probs not much help!!!!

turns out you were right shadow, not enough volts from 2nd battery. 2nd battery is fizzed! thanks for your help mate

hey guys, my bro in law has two work lights on the back of his patrol running off the second battery. when switched on ( negitively switched) the relay ( 5 pin) buzzes and the lights dont work, but when the truck is started the buzz stops and they work?? they have been on the car for a year or so ...

iv used that castrol, vmx 80, and didnt do much. iv got a 4.2td gu patrol thats done 335000 dont no bout the gear box, and i reckon my sycros between 4th 5 th, and 1st, 2nd r on the way, can anyone recomend a oil for me, not a new gear box? thanks!!

yeah i been lookin at top/ front mount kits 4 6 months now, i like the cross country top mount but dont like either scoop setup, i like the ase kit coz its pretty straight forward. no cutting grills etc. not looking for huge power gains, mayb another 15rwkw, and to give the old girl some cooler air ...

well over the weekend i hacked into my bonnet and put it in the middle, as far down the bonnet as possible(not the very front. lol). driving along i can feel some hot air being pushed out and temp has dropped about a needle width on the temp guage. probably a waste of time?!
