Hi its not a 5th gear problem! when 5th gear goes you just lose 5th gear because its turning on the out put shaft, you must have a selector problem !!cheers

Hello mate the reason why the early 3lts blow up is not because the over fuel! it is because the over boost and the solenoid that controls the variable vane turbro is not strong enough to pull it back off boost when they over boost witch causes the pistons to melt, normaly number 4 this is my ...

Hay mate check the front lower control arm bushes if they are split right open, that can cause the front diff housing to move around while driving and cause problems cheers Rick.

why clean out the oil in the intake ????? as soon as you go for a big drive it will be right back in the pipes !! and what is the crank case mode ?? cheers My mate got a ROO system on hes 2010 Y61 ute and it made a big differance. cheers

Hello you can not do a fuel pump relearn on a ZD30 and you can do it on all YD25 D40's and R51's. all you are doing is resetting it !! there is nothing to delete all you are doing is backing off the fuel pressure cheers

Hay mate when ever you replace a fuel filter on a YD25 you are suppose to carry out a fuel pump relearn its so the ECU knows that it has a new filter and it backs off the fuel pressure and they run smoother cheers Rick

Hay mate I run Fabtech shocks all round on my GQ and love them:) I had fox on the front for years and did not miss a beat, I have now got fox coil overs for the rear to fit and run my fabtechs as smoothies next to them. I would never go back to a normal shock go the fox cheers

Hello I had a look at work today and a ZD30 and a TD42 both had a towing capacity of 3.5t maybe my mate truck had a tow bar off a ute ?????????

Hay mate set them hot both intake and exhaust at 14thou, put in on top dead adjust half then turn over 360 and adjust the other half. hope this helps, but what is the go with the dail intercator gauge ?????? cheers Rick.

Hay mate just an idea put a clear hose from your lift pump to your injector pump and see if your fuel is air rated because I have seen alot of after market fuel filters suck air and cause alot of problems. cheers Rick.

Hi all,

I have recently bought an 02 GU111 4.8 Auto Patrol.

It has a lovells 2" lift.

When Im slowing to a stop (well nearly stoppeed) theres a clunk from the rear.

It seems as though when braking, something moves, then pops backed when stopped.

SOMETIMES, if I brake really gently itll do it ...

Hay mate is the TD42 an early model or a later model engine due to the earlier one were a stronger engine! If you can afford it put the turbo pistons and rods in for peace of mind.Cheers Rick:)
