The main reason i ask is that my car gets raced in a lot of speed events and i want the steering nice and direct.
We put boxes in a mates car and it flexed better and the front suspension seemed to work a bit better but it made the thing a pig to drive on the street.

Drop boxes or not?
Ive just put 3 inch spring with half inch spacers in my GQ and was wondering will i need to put drop boxes in it or will it be right with the of set castor bushes?

yer the air did hit the rail so i used a f100 style power steering and air con pump witch moves the air con on top of the power steering. ive also seen peolpe move the engine to one side a bit to make it fix.

pretty sure the ford only uses 5 volt cause all the sensors are only 5 volt thats on eecv and eeciv

That one looks ok, but it looks like it might get in the way of a second batery and the is a lot of piping.

When u get a steering box get the arm with it. chances are you won't be able to get yours off.

The ford ecu is a pain in the ass to work with Talk to Jason at T.I performance he can do a J3 chip for the computer
cheep and can program it to do just about anything. Then u don't need to hook up the speed sensor to the ECU.

I'ts difently the starter realy. and if you blow or damage the 65 amp fuse in the box next to it the realy will still click but the starter wont work. Some one may had put a curcuit breaker in the fuse holder. Could be playing up. That same fuse powers all you ACC Any thing thats on with the key ...

A mate of mine did the same thing at cruiser park in his gq ute. We worked thet it had jumped some teeth on the pitman arm on the steereing box. sounds impossalble, but it did If you compair it to another car the arm will be i a differant spot. We couldn't get the arm of after that so we just left ...

I put one of Patroldoctor's ones in a mates GQ with a blowen gen3 the makes 480 at the tyres and it works sweet and looks mad as well. When it was on the dyno i had guage across the air box and had no pressure drop at all. There a Very good thing. I'm about to get another one for my car. I just ...

Hi people i have a mate of mine who is haveing dramas finding a G16b injected 1600 for there vitara.

Yer mate it's quite easy just pull the clutch off the front of the pump. U will need a steering wheel style puller to get the clutch off then remove a clip and use a nomal 3 leg puller to get the pully off then the bearing just presses into that.

Interior light problems in GQ
Hi guys ive got a weird problem with the interior light in me gq wagon
it keeps blowing the fuse if i have both front and rear light bulbs in.
But if i only put one bulb in it don't do it. dosent matter weather its the front or rear.
Any ideas?
