Re: Gu tb45 fuel pump issues.
Have you ever replaced the fuel pump in the time you have owned the car? Genuine nissan pumps are not great. I had a similar issue. Car would die, get it towed home and it would start and run fine. I replaced the pump after the second tow after narrowing it down to that. Best thing i have ever done ...

Re: what to use for upgrade streering wheel yn65 hilux
I got a leather bound genuine wheel off a surf from the wreckers. It looks great and it was perfect fit. I have since added power steering but i wanted the bigger size wheel to help with leverage.

Re: High steer
I put high steer into my hilux and didn't NEED a dropped front hanger. I did however change the dropped pitman arm for a low range billet pitman arm. It is about halfway between the stock IFS box arm and a flat arm.

Re: Water to Air Intercooler install on LN106 Hilux
Hi mate, I run two Auber Instruments http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=5_26 EGT gauges. I also have the subaru waic and before that i had a top mount ic. I played with my fuel screw only and "tuned" it myself. All i can suggest is that you go and get a trailer from someone ...

Re: Hilus 2.8D Turbo ideas
If i had the time and money i would be making a Variable Vane Turbo (VNT) setup. Best of both worlds. Seen the turbos for cheap, just need to build the manifold and plumb it up.

Re: Hilus 2.8D Turbo ideas
Mate i have a second hand dts kit on mine i bought for $1000. It is great cause i didn't need to move the exhaust studs or anything but i also bought all the parts from a surf turbo setup from several different wreckers for under $400. I ended up putting the surf setup on a mates 2.8 and he loves it ...

Re: 80 series fuel sender upgrade
That diagram is from their site, not my drawing and like i said mine is a different solenoid, but same 6 port design. All my lines are above the tanks and plastic P clips hold them to the body. The lines going to the motor are still the hard lines from factory that doesn't change the filtering setup ...

Re: ln65 mods
Hi mate. Welcome. I have a old ln65 also and i love the thing, but don't expect a good ride. My advice is fit better seats, i used later model surf seats. They offer shit loads better support and adjustments over the stock slabs. To help also i have carpet fitted and underlay (i would now consider ...

I don't know if this is what you are after but if it is this is how i would do what MAD is trying to describe. http://autonopedia.org/wp-content/uploads/renewable-energy/pollack-6-way.jpg http://www.pollak.co.uk/ My setup is similar but my setup uses no electric pumps so my 6 port solenoid is just ...

Re: heater fan
On my hilux there are two fuses in behind the glovebox. Have to remove the inner glovebox to get to them and they are on the right near the fan/ heater controls.
Hope that's the one.

Re: ln106 hilux cross over steering sump clearance issue
I have a old 2L in my Hilux and i'm running high steer. First off there is a slight difference between the 2L & 3L sumps. The 2L sump uses a rubber gasket (It is tricky to get on and genuine replacements are expensive) The 3L sump uses a chemical gasket (gasket goo) I was going to cut down the front ...

Re: Tuning diesel Hilux 3l
The main problem will be you could destroy your engine if it is getting to much fuel. It might melt a piston if your lucky. To check it get a pyro gauge and check the exhaust temps. Also load the car up or tow a loaded trailer around up a long hill and starting in a high gear really labour the ...

Where do you buy the shims for them? I have an lsd i took out that has a leaking front pinion seal. I have the parts to replace the bearings and seals and i'd love to tighten the lsd while im at it.
Cheers.

Re: 1jz 91 dual cab lux
Mate of mine did it in a 4runner. His is IFS though. He used a late model V6 4runner box (R series box?) with a Dellows bell housing/clutch kit. Bolts on to the motor and uses the stock cross member. You need the V6 runner front shaft though. He built a custom sump with modified pick up. Custom ...
