Re: AUTO or MANUAL???? for 1UZFE Conversion into Hilux
Cheers Lads! I've decided to go Auto. Based on the reasons i said before: 1. Reliability 2.Capability for towing & offroad. The big question is, What Auto to use? Any of the options i've mentioned above or any other suggestions? I've bought a Celsior front cut. Good fuel economy would be handy too.

V6 4Runner R150F Gearbox into 2.8D LN111R Hilux
I'm runnin a 2.8D with a CT20 turbo.
The G52 box seems to be a recurring problem for many with this setup.
Is this conversion easily possible?
Is it just a matter of changing bellhousings & maybe cross member?
Cheers!

Patrol Diff Ratio's
Was just gunna buy 4.88 or 5.29 ratios for me hilux diffs.
Just tryin to "kill a few birds with one stone"!
1. Higher ratio diffs to suit me 35's.
2. Disc brakes in rear.
3. Wider track (If much wider than IFS Hilux diffs)
The cheaper the better obviously.
What more ideas we got?

Patrol Diff Ratio's
Hi Lads,
Interested to find out what the highest standard diff ratio you can get in a Patrol with disc brakes. I wanna chuck em in a Hilux runnin 35's. Ratio 4.8:1 would be good but unsure if Patrol's run that high of a ratio.
Cheers!

Holden V8 5L into 2.8L Diesel Hilux. ANY TIPS?
Pickin up the R150f gearbox from a V6 4 runner on tuesdi.
Is there anything else worth gettin from the wreck that may be useful or handy to use with the conversion? E.g. driveshafts, crossmember etc.

Cheers lads, for the heads up! So it seems the V6 4runner box is the way to go. Whats the difference between the R150F & R151F? Which is more suitable? Will i have dramas with change in length of box? Will i have to move the box back to make room for fan/radiator? Will the cross member line up? Diff ...
