Re: NOS anyone used and abused? Info pls
Biggest problem your likely to have is finding a cheap way to retard ignition timing on activation, as with any form of aspiration for every pound of boost or in your case nitrous the timing must be retarded, a tuner would tell you about 3 degrees for a 100 hp shot. Any engine that has a dissy you ...

Re: Toperi 2011 26th-27th November
in all seriousness i think the tracks should be really consistent as far as the track changing, so run order shouldnt be much of pro or con. I know how much i hate it when a track changes car to car like willow glen, makes the good cars look crap and the crap cars look good. Good luck to all those ...

Re: Holden V8 Ignition Module
I have one in my GQ and the centre metal cap part gives an electric shock when touched and car is running. I am also having a lot of trouble with it not producing spark, and when it has started it isn't running very long and cuts out. Went and saw local spare parts place and they have never sold ...

Tony is refering to blocking those orrifices off matt not opening them up if you want to change the rebound then pull some shims from the rebound side of the piston atleast this wont affect compression, and i would have thought you would be trying to slow down the rebound and decrease the ...

as far as the strenght goes the material you have listed sound suitable but its the method used in putting it on the diff that will get you into trouble, if your not carefull all you will have is a diff housing bent like a banana. If excessive heat is used and you dnt back step weld in short stiches ...

Re: School me on Panhards
As fair as I'm aware having different roll centers front and rear has little affect on how the car will handle, and for that matter there are heaps of production 4wds that have different roll centers eg a car that has an ifs and leafs in the rear. It jst means that the the car might oversteer more ...

Re: School me on Panhards
Rhett I'd say the reason it's rarely seen in cars is because it's harder to achieve a high roll center and have the panhard uphill as the chassis and engine are in the way, Also with higher speed stuff like outback challenge and kings, the blokes who drive and build those cars seem to think that ...

Re: School me on Panhards
Depending on what you want the car to do but option three is definently the go for stability the higher you can get the center of the panhard the less body roll the car will have. It works the same for all lateral control points on any suspension system, be it a panhard, a frame, triangulated 4 link ...

pretty sure (35psi) is standard i run mine at 40 with no issues and seems to pull pretty hard. Dave from team dgr has had his on a dyno as far as im aware, with the best results as far as hp goes at 40 but every engine is different.
