Ok I think we may have been wrong in thinking the boost was cutting off . After a bit more discussion it appears as if the device fitted is connected to the fuel rail pressure switch and may act as some sort of resistor to doctor the voltage readings being sent back to the ECU . Trouble is that out ...

A friend has just bought a navara d40 and he has fitted a tuning box to increase the fuel rail pressure . He has placed the car on a dyno and the device definately improves performance and you can map the increase in fuel pressure. Unfortunately at just over 3 grand the car experiences boost cut and ...

When i say I unclipped it I dont mean from the connection at the end of the wire . It was just secured to the carb to hold it in place . Wikll check tonight or tommorrow and hopefully it is as simple as that to fix .

cause as the trouble seemed to occur between operation . So I am looking for a wire on top of the carby ? and where is the solenoid located . I am not near the car at the moment . I do recall a wire attatched to the top of the carby (motor side) when I opened it but other than unclip it I did not ...

Hi all I have recently purchased a 1977 FJ45 Tray Back.Pretty stock with the 2f motor. It sits about 30mm lower on the drivers side than the passengers.I assume the springs may have sagged more on this side???nothing looks bent.Is this a common thing and is it a case of new springs or getting ...

Where did you measure to for the 1800mm.I was under the impression(was told when asked on another nissan site)that 750mm from flare to bottom lip of 15inch rim was 2 inch spring lift.I would like to measure mine again if you can tell where to measure from, thanks.

I reckon the piece of mind that comes with the TD42 in knowing that there is no reason you shouldnt get 500000km + if you do the basic maintenance. Also fuel availability. As people say no rocket sip but you know you will get there and back 10 times if you want :D

I was told that from the bottom edge of the flare to the lower lip of the rim (15 inch) on my car was 750mm.This constituted a 2 inch lift.So I assume around 700mm would be standard.??.

I would has at a guess that the o-ring was about 20-25mm diameter.Yes I was very careful with the silicone.I applied it to the o-ring and cover away from the pump and then let it set semi hard before reassembly.
