Should do. It would be located on the gear selector plate on the top of the gearbox. If undo the bolt on the gear stick boot, you see it on the passenger side front of where the gear stick goes into the gearbox.

The HZJ75 had the H55F gearboxes. I am not sure that the H55F will go into a 79 series easily, the tailshafts would be different lenghts.
Might be easier to use the H150/H151 from a part-time 4WD 80 series.

How many people do that?

Why are you in 5th while driving at 65-70kmph? This puts undue stress on engine.
You should only use 5th from 80kmph and higher, 4th for speeds 50-100kmph.

What type is the injector pump? Is it inline type which F65 had or the rotary type that the rocky's had?

Factor around $60 per injector for new pintles and spray pattern check.
For around $400-500, you get the injector pump checked (pump volume and condition) and new seals for vacuum advance/throttle setup. This is not a complete pump rebuild though but it is better than nothing.

There is a return line on the 2H motors which goes back to the lift pump and not back to the fuel tank like to 80 and later 75 series.
1HZ, 2/3/5L and B series which have the rotary injector pump (bosch VE type) which are self bleeding and can handle a small amount of air.

No they don't have a warning light as they pump the fuel from the sub to the main tank, so a warning light is not nessasary. The pump turns off automatically when the sub is empty.

Have a another look at the photo, I noticed a oil patch on the sump around the same area. The sump gasket might just leaking from the rear right near the lowest point of the bell housing. They might be connected, is there any oil marks running down the flywheel cover plate? But the where is patch ...

If its coming round from teh top of the bellhousing, its not the rear main or gearbox input seal. Think about it, unless that oil is made by Bentzook himself it cant alter the laws of gravity, and will flow down. Follow the oil trail up, most lilkey to rocker cover or distributor seal.

I very similar problem on my F60 Scat, it turned out to be the rocker cover seal was leaking at the rear. The DL engine is quite close to the firewall was difficult to see, but I replace the rocker cover seal, the problem stopped.
It is always a good idea to keep a eye on both the engine and gearbox ...

I think you will have to find out with model/series Delta your gearbox is out of. I do not know if they had different gearbox in them over the years.

The during eighties the Delta had the following:
DG 2.5L (also in F50/F55's Scats)
DL 2.8L (also in F60/F65 Scat's and F70/F75/F77 Rocky's)
B 3.0L ...

Hope you know that you can get 120 & 150 Ah Deep Cycle batteries the same size as the N70's (I think the 150 is slightly taller though).
The 120 Ah I've is pretty good (and heavy) and I got mine sitting behind the drivers seat in a battery box in my F60 (not room under the bonnet )
