Yup, do it to front and rear. + spring reversal... finally it then works as it should. But if you're gonna do that then you better do power steering too... and if you're gonna do all that then you might as well get bigger tyres... ahh, where does it end?

Why dont you just do a spring reversal on the front and while you're at it do a spring over too? You dont need longer shackles then and your front suspendion will work properly.

LOVE IT.

Best winch for me, i too was a wee bit worried when i purchased mine. As a lot of my freinds had the 10000lb low mount ones. Since i have had time to use mine compared with others i now know i made the right choice, i prefer the 8274.

You can swap them over but if you want them to work efficiently/properly, then you will probably want to also put in a 24v Altenator.

24v stuff works the same as 12v but with less Amps. Less Amps = less heat and current draw from your battery.

I'm pretty sure thats basically it...

If i was going to insure the truck / or drive it on the road then yes i would get it 'certed'.
(The last thing you need is the insurance assessor looking for a way for them to 'get out' of paying up after a crash.)

If it was a 'bush' truck, then i wouldn't bother.
