Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi guys..

As stated. my horn just died.
The horn (steering wheel) to the relay seems to be functioning and the wire from the relay to the horn proper is fine, as is the relay itself.. Just no power to the relay.
I cannot find a fuse and was wondering if anyone has any ideas..

A little late but yes it is true. The Patrol rear is a lot wider though.

WD21 / D21 Transfer case and a 720 case.

They should fit straight on. The 4x4 Navara's already have a 50mm (2inch) body lift from the factory. Perhaps your torsion bars have sagged too much?

your reply interests me... I'm new to the WD21 Pathy. In fact so new that even though i've owned it for a year, i'm yet to drive it... my car being in Oz whilst I'm in the UK... but that'll soon change as it's due to land in Blighty on Nov 15. I digress...

The main problem is the outer tie rods attached directly to the center link causing the CL to wear out rapidly and shift up and down thus causing the tires to toe in and out.

As for the steering arm problems, I believe a simple strengthening bracket will solve this... it seems to on the above form anyway

Not even a full Calmini, SLR, AC or any other US based after market manufacturer can permanently resolve the steering issues 'our models ...

Bad because of the steering issues these models have. Spend a few $$ on it and you'll surprise a few people though.

More than likely 4.8 in a Navara. They share with the Pathfinders so you can put 4.6 or 4.3 ratio diffs. You'll have to do front and rear though.

You'll may have a plate in the engine bay on the drivers side near the firewall that will have HGxx somewhere on it. The xx is the ratio.

A tyre change ...

I will go to a wreckers and size one up. There isn't too much room under the bonnet of a Pathfinder.

This is the set up I had. Too much dirty water etc gets into it.

I will take a look at the V6 surf box and if that fails I will look at other options.

I have seen (in 4x4 mags) air boxes running a snorkel or two with Commodore V6's but they never say what they are out of.

I want to connect my snorkel in the Pathy. I need an air box that will do the job but I don't have a clue what will fit. Any help would be appreciated.

- i will say this tho. if your planning on massive lift & tyres - its probably not the vehicle of choice. Unless you put some form of solid axle under the front of it.

Calmini have kits for the wd21's also but the full kits are for left hand drive only. You will be able to use the upper and lower wish bones and the torsion bars only. Set a switch up so that when you engage reverse the gear shift lever activates it. You should be able to find a 'large' micro switch from DSE or the like that will do the job for you. Just hide it under the consul or boot.

Use a MQ front diff and get it rotated. The GQ is too wide. Use the GQ radius arms and spring/shock towers and bases. Front springs in mine are from a bundy. Your panhard will have to be fabbed.
I hope to get rid of my diff (putting a stock one in (not rotated with a divorced transfer case)) later ...

Good luck with finding something. All of the manuals I know of are for US versions, and they are wired differently. The only wires that are universal are the headlight wires.
