Really they are only 2.5 seaters. The room in the back is only just enough for an adult, a small adult at that.

They are best set up as a two seater.

Yes I know they have the rear seat but really there is bugger all room in there for a larger sized adult.

We've planning on having our full version of the XJ carrier up and running by around Febuary, hopefully in time for the Wandin 4x4 show.

We built one for Jimmy B on his red XJ that competed up in QLD not long ago.

I know of a black 2005 TJ down here for $32000 that has front and rear ARB's, 4:56 ratios, 4.5" RE long arm etc etc that has NEVER been off road ;)

So finding a TJ with the mods and little off road work is not that hard.

Seems to be OK, really with any car it comes down to what you are happy paying for. The RWC certificate certainly helps, just make sure it has a slip for the engine change over. Looks like a nice neat unit, obviously look over it for obvious rust and chassis cracks before handing over the $$$$. As ...

M8 I'd seriously be looking at the tie rod ends and ball joints. In reality a good steering set-up should not need the steering dampener, if a steering dampener "fixes" the problem then you need to look else where as the steering dampener will only be masking the problem. I would bet it's a tie rod ...

CN is right to fit 32's your looking at at least a 2" lift. There are PLENTY of 2nd hand OME kits floating aorund, we have about 4 here at the workshop. 15x8 rims are the way to go if your looking at a tyre bigger than 10.5" wide, what tyres are you putting on? M8 the ding will be the seat belt warning, it will go off if you don't have your seat belt on when you start the Jeep. The low fuel warning is just one beep and the fuel icon will show on the dash. Also the fuel gauges were notorious for being a bit out of whack, there has been a recall on the ...

VERY nice, good price too.

I'm pretty sutre I know the car and it's been looked after fairly well.

Just wait untill summer then you'll have HEAPS O FUN ;)

With those revs sounds like the stock ratios, TJ's have a 3.07 ratio standard so makes them rev fairly low while crusing.

Have fun.
