Hey Chris have you seen Kerry's camper trailer? He built it from the ground up, I think it uses an early coil sprung swift axle, same track width as a wt sierra and stud pattern, so it tows through sand easily, has a slide out stove and some other fancy stuff. It's shaped like one of those T-vans. S...

Hey I had a look at fitting Ari's ones to my zook but there was a problem, can't remember what it was, I think from memory that the closed length was nearly 3" too long, so need a fair bumbstop extension, I think there were issues with the mounts as well.

Let me know if you work something out.

I recon you'd want to move the diff first, cheaper to do, and easily reversed if you don't like, can't really turn back once you hack into the firewall, you may need to do both anyway. I did my seams today, didn't take long at all, bent them over with vice grips then hammered. Although don't think m...

The zook I bought came with one. The rear section is pretty easy, four holes drilled through the top of the tub, two each side. The canopy sits on the tub, four plastic wedges sit on the canopy frame and bolts hold it all together. The front has two plastic quick release hook type things. These are ...

The trail tough gear set comes with shift sheet and seals, and the bearing kit from them is only us$89. Does anyone know what is missing from the trail tough bearing kit, it has 2 less bits than the calmini kit, as I said 1 small bearing or bush, can't make out what it is, and what looks like a circ...

I got mine from repco, the longest one they had in stock just fitted. Needed to tape it into the plastic bit on the airbox to get it to hold though.

I just re-read your post, do you mean the one that draws hot air from the shield on the exhaust manifold.

What about getting the trail tough 4.9 and the bearing kit from the U.S. if your on a budget.
Think that has everything you need, it might be missing a bearing and a circlip.
Should get the lot for about $AUD 900 plus what ever postage is.

Brake Pedal Height

I bought a 95 sierra a couple weeks ago, used to drive an MK patrol, got used to most of the changes except one, the break pedal height, it's so far from the go pedal. I would prefer the 3ltr, don't do much towing other than a little box trailer, and it will be a daily driver.
If I could afford to fill a 4.2 I would get one.

What sort of price do you recon these are really worth from a yard? I know most people recon they aren't worth much, but the dealers don't seem to know this. I'm looking for a 92 model up, 220ish, good condition, can't find much around. Plenty of 90-91 models but they all want $8k plus. Doesn't seem...
