Phone a wreckers and tell them you want to buy one. I'll bet it's more than $50

What's that noise

I have a petrol GQ and when sitting on very steep hills the motor makes a dull nocking noise. It doesn't seem to do any harm, and there is plenty of oil pressure. Does anyone know what this noise is?

If you have fibreglass flares you will need to trim them a bit, otherwise ok

I run 35's with a 4" lift the tyres just touch the rear guards not enough to make me get the grinder out,Yet. Motor has plenty of power but the economy does suffer.

G,day I am also converting a tb42 carby to injection and turbo. Like you i was quoted stupid prices from a wreckers but ended up picking up a complete injected motor for $800 with computer and afm not that i will be using them. I agree with Brunsy the aftermarket ecu is the way to go.
