if you not going to put in body lift i would think about putting in a bigger bump stop as the 35" tyre might hit the top of fender maybe a 125mm or 150mm bump stop

the 3 hole perches so you can put 35" and 38" on if you want but make sure you tailshaft is long enough.

Oh yeah i have 35" on my lux and i moved the diff forward 1" and did a bit of guard chopping mainly the seam behind ...

IFS hilux rear suspension problems

Currently have SASed the front to my hilux, and have about 18" of travel need to get my rear to flex the same, any thoughts?

if leaf springs which springs? thinking of maybe coil over shocks? or 4 link the rear?

has anyone have any ideas?

If you are doing this so u can get it registered keep in mind that extended shackles are illegal :roll: and I am pretty sure that moving the axle forward thus changing the wheelbase is also bad and the same goes for running 35's

Maybe do this after its rego'd :lol:

ahh kewl, so what does that do? is it for lifted hilux's?? is the axle wrap the ladder bar on the superior engineering site? and why would ya need it??

hi steer = drag link and tie rod is above the leaf spring
cross over = tie rod under leaf spring and drag link above leaf spring

tiny, this is crossover steering, also torque rod might not be needed you don't really want to put one if you have too. I have a 3" suspension and 2" body lift but i might need a axle wrap bar on the back maybe though

well the motor didnt go bang with the dyno ,even though it blew enough black smoke for me to expect a visit from the EPA the car is running quite abit rich ,about 14.3 air to fuel ratio should be in the range of 18,hence the over fueling /black smoke (blew some with the gas off)blew even more with ...

The 1kz-te runs factory 12-13PSI boost.
To boost it up to say 15PSI you will have to trick the map sensor as the computer will take out fuel over 15PSI.

WHAT TO DO:

1. 3 inch pipe from turbo flange down to 2.5 inch.
must run a straight through mufler as a turbo 4 cyl sounds crap.
