I have done a kit for Rob the cashie we used coilovers and run the standard 75 chassis with 80 series diffs turned out 100% a good rig allround.

Gday Chad just curious on what a rough estimate in dollars would be to do the ...

Superior do a kit for the front but they suggest that you use shock hoops so that you will still have the full travel of your shock, cause the problem is that the shock is attached to the u-bolt plate so you have to weld shock brackets to the back of your diff housing.
Correct me if iam wrong cause ...

Gday mate wicked 75...What sort of mods have you done to fit those 37's?

I see you have extended shackles so iam guessing 3" of sus lift and 2" body but just wondering if you had to cut the front guards.Also have you got wheel spacers or do your rims have a custom offset.

Have you moved your diff ...

Ive seen a 75 series ute and a bundy with the 78/79 series grill and blinkers but i dont know if the bolt line or whats involved ive only seen pics on the internet...

In issue 97 of 4wd monthly there was a new hilux with the IFS cut out and a Dobbin Engineering cross-over brace (which looks to be similer to the x link) anyway it had the 80 series axle set up in the front and looks good..

i have a question, a bloke at my work(while on hols from uni) will be selling his 75 ute soon(casue of the missis), the only thing is that its a 2h turbo

he did all the work on it him self (hes a heavy commercial diesel fitter)we are actually stripping it down ...

Same as what dogbreath_48 rust mine had it on both sides of the floorpans but i cut it out and welded in 3mm plate.

Lock in the front hubs put it 4wd and do a few laps in a circle and make sure you dont hear any clunks or clicks.When i bought mine the front diff was stuffed and hubs were also ...

When I had my front done about 2 months ago at Arb it leaked from the get go and had to pull it out.They said the seal was sh$t and they replaced it for free but he also told me that they had a email saying that there was a bad batch of seals in some of the airlockers.

I think I'm pretty happy with this layout now. This is pretty much to scale after measuring all the switches.

Have to buy another ARB compressor switch to use for the OBA to keep the second row tidy.

IGN and H/BRAKE are warning lights.
HEAT, VENT, FAN and CHOKE are pull out knobs.
The whole top ...

the 4.2 diesel Dave i wasnt sure and in my manual that was the only two gearboxs that was in there h151f and h150f....
So i must have the h55f gearbox which is good to know if i ever need parts or another box.

I had no idea what the gearbox was sorry mate.. I think i need to buy a Gregorys manual

I use Rimula x15w/40 and change filter every 5000km and mines done 300000km and dosent use a drop of oil even on long trips...

yeah mate ya spot on there the gear box and the transfer use the same breather... the breather is located on the very top abit behind the gear shifter...... hard to locate but you can always drop the gear box a little :armsup:

I thought the same as what muss said i couldnt find another breather ...

I like all the info Dave i have a 92 model but i dont have the disk brakes on the back.So mine must be the last of the drums what a f&%k or well ya get that.

I like the way you did that Dave.I just put a bent piece of black fuel pipe that was shaped liked a L and clamped it on tight trust me it wasnt coming off and ran it up into the engine bay.But now that i read yours that looks like a better idea.I got to mine from the top unbolting the plate around ...
