Heavy duty clutch noise

A friend had a heavy duty clutch fitted to his 80 series last weekend, the shop said the rubbing noise is bacause they don't have asbestos in them anymore... they also said whenever it clicks while idleing at the lights, just lift the revs to about 1800rpm and it'll go away... He is unhappy with it ...

axtra air in the bull bar

I'm wondering if sealing the ends of the pipe that froms the top half of an ARB bull bar could form an extra air tank. Has anyone heard of that being done?

Biggest stock tyres?

Anyone know which car comes out with the biggest tyre size? My guess is a landcruiser or an F250.

I don't suppose I know what the limits of what a car is before it becomes a truck...

I have the same sort of problem and it goes away if I pull over and stop, then start driving again.

I figure it's from my warped radius arms... one day I'll fit castor correctors or maybe go silly and get some of these...

Using my ARB locker...

I've got a Suzuki Jimny and tomorrow it's getting a air locker fitted. I'm just wondering how it should be used... Say I'm on my way up a loose but manageable hill until halfway up, I get to some ruts and the suspension gets to crossed up and can't go any further because of wheel slip. Should I ...

So the story is that the bull bar is connected to the chasis well enough to use the bar as a place to mount a "proper" recovery point but the holes in the bull bar are just for decoration? Could the ARB designers be thinking "it's better to have the eye in the plate rip out in a recovery than the ...

How low is too low?

Has anybody heard of a 4wd with such low gearing that it can idle into a tree and just start turning the wheels in place rather than stalling? I suppose it would be most impressive if it could happen on bitumen, but any surface would do...

ARB Air locker Rear

I just got a phonecall from ARB Mackay asking me what size engine my Jimny had in it... I said 1.3L DOHC... What possible difference could that make to the locker that they are fitting? Surely there is only one diff in all the Jimnys... Can anyone put my fears at ease and confirm there is only one ...

If you don't have the original rear muffler on anymore, what about fitting a water tank in that space and running a filler and tap out through holes in the bumper? could get at least 20L i'd reckon...
