I've pulled it apart again. It appears the backing plates are bowed, bent outward around the centre, allowing play for the bearing. They must have bent them when i last got the bearings done being why the problem is a new one. Might be time for some new backing plates, and new bearings seeing they ...

The filters i use are ryco and valvoline, the one between the pumps is just a standard sierra/vit one z367 or vf31. and then in the engine bay i use a commodore/falcon one being z200 or vf6, its a metal straight though kinda one. G'day, I need to pull my doors off my sierra. The screws holding the hinges on for the doors are tight as and the ones for the back door are even worse! I cant get them undone. How have others succeeded??

All is now solved, thanks for everyones help. Top link that Damo was very handy! Sourced 2 kits, one for each side from warringah brakes. $20 a side which contained all the ruber goodies which are involved. Also bought some special grease for the job, so $50 all up which didnt seem to bad. Was also ...
